For me, blogging is Fun. For other bloggers, may be blogging means to become popular or to earn some income. Whatever your goal, we need to get people attention. People attention will bring traffic to our blog. If your blogging goal to generate income, good traffic is a must. How to get traffic? The answer is Promotions, Blog Promotion.

The key of success of your blog is bring traffic to your blog. Traffic will give you more chance to generating income. Whatever method you use, be it contextual ads, banner ads, paid ads or some other method of generating income, the key for you to maximize your profit is by driving hordes of traffic to your blog. The idea is simple, more visitors to your blog, the more opportunity for readers to click through on your ads.

Being an active member in a community and in a forum is different. We must have a strategies to get involve and pick your place.

There are many method to promoting your blog. This time I'll talk about being an active member in a community as well as a forum. Joining a community and forum will give our blog more exposure and visibility. This activities will bring you great number of traffic.

Forums
Forum always have categories for every discussions or thread. Choosing the topic before you get involve, pick the right topic that interesting you and give other members a little help. Forum is more than a place to chat but people looking for help in the forum.

Forum is always about answer and question. Giving others help will be a great promotion to your blog. Answering questions in forum will give you more authority. You can make your self important to others by answering others questions. If your answers really help people, don't bother about traffic, people will looking for you and that is the goal of joining a forum, and the bonus is Traffic.

Being an active member in a forum doesn't mean you can spamming others with your messages or links. Try to follow Forum's Rules. Forum is a great place to create you authority and reputation. If you fail to follow the rules, you will not get traffic and reputation but your account will be suspend, you will no longer can access you account.

Good promotion, in community and forum will give you maximum result if your blog have good and rich contents. Useful and informative. Blog optimization will such keywords, meta tag, image, etc. This blog optimization will give you better rank in the search engine result page and this thing have correlations with your authority on the community and forum.
Related forum will bring you more reputation and authority, try to join forums on your niche, and join discussion on topic that interesting to you and meet your capacity and capability.
Create your unique profile and use the same picture for you profile. Let people remember your picture with real picture :) Do not use avatar, some people don't like being involve with cartoon, superhero, animal or flower on your profile picture. Let people know that you are really person.
